We are looking for a talented Senior Landscape Architect to join our allied practice, InSite, in our brand new office in Lisbon, Portugal.

About InSite:

InSite is a team of urban designers, planners, and landscape architects who share a passion for designing the built environment. Our diverse studio consists of designers from around the world.

What you'll do:

  • Manage projects and direct the work of junior landscape architects.
  • Lead a design studio in the successful delivery of Landscape projects to high-quality standards, on time, within budget, and meeting client expectations.

What we're looking for:

  • 10+ years of relevant work experience partnered with a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture from an accredited University or College program.
  • Professional registration, licensure, or chartership with an internationally recognized professional association.
  • Expert understanding of the regional construction industry, local construction methods, and their influence on design decisions.
  • Strong design management experience on landscape projects.
  • Expert understanding of industry codes, standards, health & safety requirements, sustainability regulations, local construction methods, and their influence on design decisions.
  • Strong understanding of key design-related computer programs.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret complex documents.
  • Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and quantitative skills.
  • Ability to make effective presentations on general topics.
  • Ability to partner with clients to exceed their expectations and build client relations.
