We are looking for a driven hunter to fuel new business growth and expand our presence across key markets. Reporting to the Sales Supervisor, you will be mainly responsible for driving new customer acquisitions and opening doors for prospects with high potential.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for hunting new accounts with Global, Strategic, or Key tier potential across the DACH region within the Built Environment business unit.
- Finds accounts with the highest potential and develops a strategy and acquisition plan.
- Systematically prioritizes high-potential leads (Key+ tiers) to develop them into new customer acquisitions.
- Lays the groundwork for a lasting relationship with the customer throughout the sales process and makes sure there is a successful handover to the account manager after the initial period.
- Drives the entire sales cycle, from the first contact to the closed sale. Continues to build the relationship with customers to make sure service delivery is successful before handing ownership to the account management team.
- Gives customer information and background to new account owners and helps with customer introductions.
- Recognizes extra chances for account growth after the first sale is closed.
- Works with Sales Support Specialists for creating quotes and taking orders.
- Uses engineers, software solution architects, and practitioners to run demonstrations, give expert knowledge, and support proposal development as needed.
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years of working experience as a sales hunter or in a similar role.
- Hunter mindset with a strong focus on closing high-value deals.
- Fluent German and strong command of English (spoken and written).
- Proven history in B2B new business development.
- A sales enthusiast who consistently goes over sales goals through creativity, persistence, and a true hunter mindset.
- Business knowledge with excellent people and business communication skills.
- Availability to travel 50% to 75% of the time across the DACH region.
- Skilled in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook), and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.
Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)
- Knowledge and experience with the assigned industry, such as building safety or fire protection.
