๐ย About the Role:
As a Senior Payments Data Analyst, you'll transform payment data into actionable insights that drive improvements and optimize processes. You'll be working remotely from Spain. This role is perfect if you're passionate about using analytics to monitor business performance, analyze trends, and predict future outcomes.
What You'll Do:
- ๐ Consolidate and synthesize payments data from various sources.
- ๐ Identify insights through data interpretation, analyzing results using statistical techniques.
- ๐ฃ๏ธ Proactively communicate insights to influence global and regional payments strategies.
- ๐ค Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute payment optimization testing initiatives.
- ๐ Continuously monitor and enhance payment success metrics, using an agile approach.
- ๐ค Assist in creating and maintaining an automated payments performance monitoring and alert system.
- ๐ค Collaborate with stakeholders on the paymentsโ success predictive model.
- ๐ป Lead the design and implementation of an automated payments performance monitoring and alert system.
- ๐ Develop weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual business performance reports.
- ๐ต๏ธโโ๏ธ Lead payments-related root cause analysis and create ad hoc reports and competitive analyses.
๐คย What We're Looking For:
- ๐ผย Experience:ย 7+ years in an analytical, finance, or similar role.
- ๐ย Education:ย Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a similar analytical field (preferred).
- ๐ณย Expertise:ย Deep understanding of the recurring payments space.
- ๐ปย Technical Skills:ย Experience with SQL, R, Python, Hadoop, Power BI, Tableau, or Google Analytics. Proficiency in ANSI SQL (SQL Server preferred).
- ๐ง ย Abilities:ย Strong analytical & problem-solving skills; experience in data visualization, interpretation, and reporting; excellent communication skills; self-motivation; high attention to detail.
- ๐ฅย Passion:ย Fanatical about data and the stories it can tell; flexible approach with a strategic mindset and tactical execution skills.
- ๐ฏย Accountability:ย Ability to drive projects from start to finish, manage competing priorities, and deliver impactful results.
