Senior PHP Developer

Responsibilities

• Develop new modules and features for the SIS system as part of a team of 2 to 5 developers, led by a Team Lead.
• Plan and estimate stories.
• Prepare technical specifications, estimate timelines, and manage deadlines for your tasks.
• Develop new functionality for the system, both in existing services and through the creation of new services.
• Typical tasks include planning and estimating stories, task planning, programming, writing tests, code review, and task verification.

Requirements

• Have 5 years of full-time experience as a developer.
• Understand OOP principles and can apply them in practice.
• Have 3 years of experience with PHP, including the latest versions of PHP.
• Have experience working with MySQL, with the ability to analyze and optimize SQL queries.
• Have a basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Are comfortable reading and writing in English, and can communicate with the team in written English.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)

• Have experience as a Senior PHP Developer.
• Have remote work experience with a predictable schedule.
• Are familiar with a modern PHP framework.
• Have experience with APIs and microservice architecture.
• Have conversational-level English.
