We're a Deep Tech Startup on a mission to revolutionize personalized medicine 📈. We're looking for an awesome Senior Research Data Scientist to join our team!

🔎 What You'll Be Doing

• Own the full data science pipeline for specific projects, from start to finish.
• Dive deep into our proprietary datasets, exploring, analyzing, and extracting insights to advance personalized medicine.
• Develop cutting-edge algorithms, statistical models, and machine learning techniques to uncover patterns and trends in complex data.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, influencing product development and decision-making using data.
• Stay at the forefront of advancements in data science, machine learning, and personalized medicine.
• Communicate findings clearly and concisely to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Have lots of fun working with unique datasets and human-derived signals! 😄

✔️ Requirements

• Experienced hands-on professional with a deep understanding of data science.
• Eagerness to explore new types of data - experience with omics datasets (genomics, metabolomics, etc.) is a plus.
• Adept at handling diverse data types, from tabular to time series, physical & physiological signals.
• Excited to contribute new algorithms and machine learning models to our cloud libraries of diseases.
• Strong technical leadership experience and ability to work in interdisciplinary teams.
• Insatiable hunger for innovation and a drive for excellence.

🎓 Qualifications

• PhD or relevant degree in Computer Science, Computational Biology, Bioinformatics, or related field. Exceptional candidates with a Master's degree and proven research experience will be considered.
• 3+ years of experience in academia/industry solving problems related to extracting insights from data, ideally biomedical signals.
• Experience in data science applied to omics data is preferred — helpful, but not mandatory.
• Experience working in fast-paced environments, preferably in a deep-tech startup or similar high-growth setting.
• Extensive experience in data preprocessing, feature engineering, and exploratory data analysis.
• Deep understanding and practical application of statistical concepts, predictive modeling, and experimental design.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate complex challenges in data analysis and signal processing.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate complex findings.
• Experience supervising junior members would be welcomed but is not necessary.
