🏢 Department: Health Sciences | Government Resource Center

The Ohio Colleges of Medicine Government Resource Center (GRC) is looking for a Reporting and Analytics Analyst 3 to join their team. You could be involved in quality improvement or applied health services and population health research.

🎯 What You'll Do

The projects you'll work on will be specific, but could include a combination of the following:

  • Helping with or leading data analysis and building measures using data from electronic health records (EHR), Medicaid claims, or surveys.
  • Helping with or leading the creation and upkeep of interactive data visualizations using R Shiny and/or Tableau.
  • Writing reports, white papers, and presentations.
  • Sharing your research results with team members and others.
  • Reviewing work from subcontractors.
  • Doing literature searches and reviews.
  • Assisting with the creation of protocols and IRB applications.
  • Designing data collection tools, like questionnaires and clinical data forms.

As a Reporting and Analytics Analyst 3, you will:

  • Mostly focus on technical tasks.
  • Potentially contribute to project leadership and management.
  • Work independently on projects of moderate difficulty.
  • Collaborate on complex tasks with guidance.
  • Have excellent communication skills to build agreement, help others, and explain technical information clearly.
  • Work on 3-5 projects at once with significant project responsibility.

🎓 What We're Looking For

  • Minimum Education: A Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent.
  • Required Experience: At least 4 years of related experience with a bachelor's degree, or 2 years with an advanced degree. Proven experience using the R statistical computing environment for data preparation and analysis, with a focus on team-based code development. Some experience creating interactive data visualizations is a must. A successful background check is required.

➕ Preferred Experience

  • Experience creating data pipelines, including probabilistic links across data sets from various sources.
  • Experience in applied health services or population health research.
  • Experience with SQL or statistical analysis.
