Senior Roblox 3D Environment Artist

Orange Comet is searching for a talented Roblox 3D Environment Artist to join our team! We're all about bringing big-name entertainment brands and IPs to platforms like Roblox, Minecraft, and Fortnite. If you've got a knack for building immersive 3D worlds and you're passionate about Roblox, we want to hear from you!

What You'll Do

• 🎨 Design and create captivating 3D environments for Roblox games.
• 💻 Develop top-notch 3D models, textures, and materials optimized for Roblox.
• 🤝 Collaborate with game designers, programmers, and other team members to bring game ideas to life.
• 🎮 Participate in playtesting and get feedback from players to improve your designs.
• 📈 Stay up-to-date on the latest trends in 3D environment art and the Roblox platform.
• 💯 Ensure all environment designs fit the overall vision and goals of the project.

What You'll Need

• 💪 At least three years of experience in 3D environment art, focusing on Roblox or similar interactive platforms.
• ✨ A killer portfolio showcasing your previous 3D environment work, especially for Roblox.
• 🖥️ Proficiency in using Roblox Studio, Blender, or other 3D modeling software. Bonus points for Lua scripting skills!
• 🗣️ Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• 🧠 Strong problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail.
• 🎓 A Bachelor's degree in Game Design, 3D Art, Computer Science, Interactive Media, or a related field is preferred, but equivalent experience or certifications are also considered.

Tech Stack

• 🧰 Design Tools: Roblox Studio, Blender, other 3D modeling and texturing tools.
• 💻 Scripting Languages: Basic understanding of Lua.
• 🗓️ Project Management: Basic understanding of tools like Jira or Trello.

Location

This role is 100% remote, with Orange Comet HQ located in Burbank, California.

Compensation

The base salary range for this remote position is $50,000 - $125,000 USD + benefits. The specific salary range will be discussed during the hiring process.
