🎯 Your Role:

As a Security Sales Engineer, you'll spearhead the technical aspects of pre-sales for Tenable.ad in your assigned region. Collaborating with Territory Managers and peers, you'll differentiate Tenable.ad, showcase its value, and cultivate customer loyalty.

✨ Your Opportunity:

• Become an Active Directory and Risk Management expert, advising major organizations.
• Identify client security challenges and business priorities related to Active Directory.
• Partner with sales teams to promote Tenable.ad.
• Align Tenable's value proposition with client needs.
• Contribute to technical responses for RFPs/RFIs.
• Influence product development and contribute to Tenable's growth.

💪 What You'll Need:

• Active Directory/AD penetration testing experience.
• Security-related technical pre-sales experience.
• Ability to tailor demos to client needs.
• Expertise in communicating technical information to diverse audiences (technical and executive).
• Proactive, results-oriented approach.
• Excellent teamwork skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel (approximately 25%).
• Ability to translate technical features into business value and architect solutions.
• Strong relational and empathetic skills.
• Blend of engineering skills, analytical thinking, and business acumen.
• Ability to travel for customer engagements on short notice.

➕ Ideally:

• Experience with Nessus or other network security technologies.
• Solid understanding of TCP/IP and network security concepts.
• Enterprise-level operating system security administration experience.
• Experience with cloud infrastructures (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.).
• Docker, DevOps, API scripting, and Python SDK knowledge.
• Familiarity with compliance standards (PCI, FISMA, SOX, NERC).
• BS in Computer Science or related field; 5+ years of SE experience.
• Security certifications (CISSP, GIAC, CEH, etc.).

🌎 Location: Remote (US)

💰 Compensation: $128,000—$170,000 USD (base pay range; actual compensation may vary based on qualifications and experience). Variable compensation (commission) is also available.
