The Role:

As anΒ IAM Architect, you'll be a key player in shaping the future of healthcare technology at IQVIA. You'll be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing the organization's overall Identity and Access Management (IAM) architecture and strategy. This role is crucial to ensuring the security and efficiency of our systems, products, and platforms.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead a team of IAM architects, providing mentorship and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Manage budgets, resources, and timelines for IAM projects, ensuring efficient and effective delivery.
  • Develop and maintain the IAM architecture, aligning it with business goals and security standards.
  • Lead the design and implementation of IAM solutions, including identity and access governance, privileged access management, single sign-on/identity federation, multifactor authentication, and access control mechanisms.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define IAM roadmaps, policies, and procedures that support the organization's strategic objectives.
  • Ensure IAM processes and technologies comply with relevant regulations, standards, and frameworks (GDPR, SOX, HIPAA, NIST, GxP, ISO 27001).
  • Lead efforts to assess and mitigate IAM-related risks, providing guidance on best practices and security controls.
  • Evaluate and select IAM technologies and vendors, staying informed about industry trends, new technologies, and emerging threats.
  • Oversee the integration of IAM with other cybersecurity tools and platforms, ensuring seamless operation and data exchange.

What You'll Need:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Significant experience in cybersecurity with a focus on IAM, including some time in a leadership or management role (this role is Associate Director level).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
  • A strong background in enterprise/solution architecture, business information modeling, and system design.
  • Deep knowledge of IAM technologies (e.g., Active Directory, Azure AD, SailPoint, PAM solutions).
  • Knowledge and usage of architecture frameworks (TOGAF, SABSA) and standards.
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing IAM architectures.
  • Certifications: CISSP, CISM, or relevant IAM certification (e.g., Certified Identity and Access Manager, Microsoft certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate) would be a plus.
