👨💻 The Role
We're on the lookout for a skilled and enthusiastic team player to join one of our diverse Engineering teams. As an engineer, your primary goal is to produce reliable, top-notch code within a continuous delivery environment. You'll be part of a small, collaborative Agile team, where you'll design and release features while improving our infrastructure.
As a Senior Software Engineer I, you're known for your quick thinking, rapid learning, and ability to see a problem through to its solution. You enjoy tackling complex challenges and contributing fresh ideas and methods, always looking for ways to boost team performance. You thrive in a collaborative setting, seeking out better ways to create high-quality software in a culture of trust and collaboration.
🎯 What We're Looking For

Curious and Growth-Oriented: You have a genuine passion for continuous learning, actively searching for chances to expand your expertise and push yourself and others to achieve ambitious goals.

Strong Computer Science Fundamentals: You possess a solid grasp of system design, data structures, and algorithms.

SaaS Application Experience: You have at least four (4) years of experience as a Software Engineer developing and maintaining SaaS applications.

REST API Expertise: You've spent at least two (2) years maintaining, creating, and optimizing REST APIs.

Python Proficiency: You're comfortable working with Python.

CI/CD and Container Technologies: You have experience with CI/CD tools (like Jenkins) and container technologies (like Docker and Kubernetes).

AWS Familiarity: You're experienced with AWS.

Collaboration and Delivery: You have a proven track record of working effectively with engineers and product owners to successfully deliver products to end-users.

Team Player: You're responsible, team-oriented, and well-organized.

Excellent Communication: You're an excellent communicator in English, both written and spoken.
➕ Nice to Have
- Experience with Django, OpenSearch/Elasticsearch, FastAPI, Flask, or SQLAlchemy.
- Ability to take ownership of loosely defined features, from design to completion, and successfully deliver on commitments.
- Experience with transitioning a software monolith into microservices.
