⚙️ The Role

The "Engineering, Architecture and Systems" Department within our Combustion Solutions team delivers system solutions and tools for the Bosch Home Comfort Business unit.

It helps business units and support functions develop products and services tailored to customer needs. Starting with requirements engineering, it provides tools and processes for solution concepts, system simulation and integration, verification, and validation (iVV). A crucial aspect of the iVV strategy is "Virtual Testing," which verifies customer requirements for a given solution in a simulated environment.

🎯 Your Responsibilities

• Lead virtual testing activities for our Combustion Solutions (process, tools, alignment).
• Maintain and expand infrastructure (in collaboration with other business units).
• Provide support and alignment for DevOps tasks and processes.
• Coordinate simulation activities within the Combustion Solutions area.
• Support projects with specific tasks.

🔎 What We're Looking For

• Education: A degree in Electronic, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Informatics, or a related field.
• Experience & Knowledge:
  • Experience with model-based development tools (MATLAB and Simulink).
  • Understanding of HVAC systems.
  • Familiarity with modern DevOps practices, particularly the Atlassian toolchain (Bitbucket, Jira (R4J, Xray), Confluence), Jenkins, Git, and testing experience.
• Personality:
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset, including occasional travel abroad.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a team-oriented approach, with a willingness to learn and share knowledge.
  • A strong sense of responsibility and a proactive attitude with a strategic mindset.
• Languages: Good spoken and written English and Portuguese.
