Senior Tax Accountant - German Speaker

The Role 💼:

We're searching for a skilled Statutory Accountant to prepare financial statements and US GAAP to Local GAAP reconciliations for our global clients in EMEA. This is a challenging and rewarding position for career advancement.

What You'll Do:

• Prepare monthly tasks: VAT, Intrastat reports, payroll, balance sheet reconciliations, and SOX binders.
• Handle year-end financial close activities: US GAAP to Local GAAP reconciliations and Local GAAP financial statement drafting.
• Collaborate with auditors on PBC list preparation.
• Work with external consultants on annual CIT questionnaires.
• Assist with ad-hoc accounting, tax, and finance projects.
• Support the team leader for smooth transaction processing and monthly reporting.
• Guide and mentor junior staff to meet client deadlines.

What We're Looking For:

• Must-haves: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics; 3-5 years of accounting & taxation experience; strong MS Office skills (especially Excel); fluency in English and German (written and spoken); solid understanding of Accounting Principles and Taxation; attention to detail; excellent communication skills with a proactive, supportive, and positive attitude; ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks; ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines; SAP ERP knowledge; experience in a Shared Service Center (SSC) environment is a plus.
