About the Role:
We're urgently seeking a seasoned Senior Test Analyst with 9+ years of experience for a leading institution in the Netherlands. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact, working remotely with occasional on-site work (1 week every 3 weeks). You'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth development and deployment of various projects.
What You'll Do:
- 🎯 Develop and execute performance, load, stress, endurance, and capacity testing.
- 🎯 Define performance goals, thresholds, and acceptance criteria, designing relevant tests.
- 🎯 Analyze and report on performance test executions, pinpoint bottlenecks, and suggest improvements.
- 🎯 Contribute to defining test plans for non-functional quality characteristics (e.g., security, efficiency, reliability).
- 🎯 Conduct non-functional testing of ICT infrastructure and data migration projects.
- 🎯 Create and manage large, complex test datasets (structured and unstructured data).
- 🎯 Support operational acceptance testing and piloting activities.
- 🎯 Identify, retest, and report on defects.
- 🎯 Report comprehensive test results.
What We're Looking For:
- 🎓 Bachelor's or Master's degree.
- 👨💻 9+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance as a Technical Test Analyst.
- ⏱️ 5+ years of experience in performance testing diverse systems (web apps, web services, middleware, databases), protocols, and technologies (HTTP, REST, gRPC, SOAP, JDBC).
- ⚙️ 1+ year of experience in Kubernetes environments.
- 🎯 Ability to define performance goals, thresholds, and acceptance criteria based on product requirements, standards, and regulations.
- ⌨️ Strong knowledge of C# or JAVA, or scripting languages (Python, Groovy) for performance testing.
- 🧰 Proficiency with Apache JMeter for developing, executing, and analyzing load test scenarios.
- 📦 Experience with containerized environments (Kubernetes), including monitoring tools and Open Tracing.
- 🌐 Understanding of networking, load balancers, firewalls, middleware (like queuing systems), and databases.
- 🗣️ Fluency in English.
- 📜 Valid work permit required for non-EU candidates.
Additional Information:
- This position is also open to long-term contractors.
- EU candidates must be fluent in English.
- On-site work: 1 week every 3 weeks in the Netherlands.
