πŸš€Β The Role

As aΒ Shorex Land Experience Coordinator, you'll play a key role in planning and improving all shore excursion experiences for our guests.

Your main goal is to make sure our guests have amazing time during their on-land adventures.

You'll be guiding guests, giving instructions, and making sure they are safe. You'll be interacting with guests, giving them details about tours and locations, and helping them at the front desk. You'll also support presentations, recaps, and other shore excursion-related tasks. You'll also support Shorex and entertainment onboard.

πŸ’ΌΒ What We're Looking For

  • Prior experience in a similar position or proven experience in the tourism industry.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with guests effectively.
  • Small-Vessel Proficiency Certificate (RYA Powerboat Level 2 or equivalent)
  • Proficiency in driving zodiacs
  • STCW Basic Safety Training Certificate
  • Great organizational skills to handle front desk duties and concierge services.
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to change.

🎯 What You'll Do

  • Share information about tours and locations with guests.
  • Help with front desk tasks, including providing activity information and booking taxis.
  • Assist with Shorex activities, including presentations and recaps.
  • Take photos of shore excursion activities.
  • Handle bus dispatch and give directions to guests on shore.
  • Escort guests on tours.
  • Assist with onboard entertainment (setup, sound, and lighting).
  • Help the Cruise Director with office tasks.
  • Guide guests and give instructions for water sports.
  • Make sure guests are safe during water activities.
  • Drive zodiacs with guests or as a safety driver.

🀝 Preferred Experience

  • Solid customer service skills and the ability to address guest questions and concerns.
  • Previous experience in shore excursion coordination, tourism, or a related field is a plus.
  • Proficiency in computer and Microsoft PowerPoint skills.
  • Knowing multiple languages is great!Β English is required.
  • Public speaking skills.
