Position Purpose
We are looking for a hunter with a proven history of closing new business in the very competitive RegTech and Identity Verification area. As an SMB Account Executive, you will be in charge of the whole sales process, from finding leads to closing the deal, focusing on small and medium-sized businesses in key UK industries. The best person for this role will be a quota-carrying sales professional with direct experience selling B2B SaaS, deep knowledge of IDV, AML, KYC, and KYB, and a background in the competitive identity verification market.
Key Responsibilities
- Full-Cycle Sales: Manage the entire sales process from lead finding to contract talks and closing deals.
- Strategic Prospecting: Find, qualify, and build a strong pipeline of SMB clients in target industries such as FinTech, Crypto, E-commerce, Marketplaces, and Online Gaming.
- Product Evangelism: Clearly explain the unique value of the Shufti Pro platform, making sure we stand out from other solutions in the market.
- Solution Selling: Do discovery calls and demonstrations to understand what problems prospects have around rules, fraud, and getting users set up, and then customize solutions using our product suite.
- Market Intelligence: Use your existing knowledge of what competitors are doing to win deals and give useful feedback to our product and marketing teams.
- Target-Driven Performance: Consistently meet and go past monthly and quarterly sales goals for revenue and getting new customers.
- CRM Excellence: Keep accurate and timely records of all sales activities and pipeline in HubSpot/Salesforce.

You are a competitive, results-focused sales professional who does well in a fast-moving setting and has a proven history of hitting sales goals. You understand the technical and compliance problems of digital identity completely. You know the objections, the main players in the market, and the key decision-makers in the UK. You are not just someone who takes orders; you are a strategic hunter who knows how to replace current providers and win business.
Required Skills & Experience
- 2 to 4 years of experience in a full-cycle, closing sales role (focusing on SMB or Mid-Market).
- Proven experience selling a B2B SaaS product in the IDV, KYC, KYB, AML, or Compliance (RegTech) area.
- A consistent history of meeting and going past sales quotas.
- Deep understanding of the competitive market and the rules that UK businesses must follow.
- Proven ability to find your own pipeline using LinkedIn Sales Navigator, cold calling, and other ways of finding leads.
- Great skills in talking, negotiating, and presenting.
