What You'll Do:
- 🛠️ Design and develop high-performance software architectures for eSIM and iSIM lifecycle management. (Think RSP, profile, key management, security, and more!)
- 🤝 Collaborate with developers, product managers, sales, customers, and partners to deliver top-notch eSIM/iSIM products.
- 🛡️ Ensure architectural integrity throughout the software development lifecycle.
- 🔎 Analyze existing systems and suggest improvements for performance, security, and scalability.
- 💡 Stay updated on GSMA & eSIM technology trends, incorporating best practices.
- 👨🏫 Mentor and guide development teams, fostering innovation.
- 📏 Define and enforce architectural standards and guidelines.
- 💡 Lead in eSIM/iSIM RSP, consumer and IoT domains, deployment architecture (cloud and on-premises), and GSMA SAS-SM product requirements.
- 🔬 Evaluate new technologies, create prototypes, and define integration points.
- 📝 Lead code and design reviews, ensuring compliance with standards.
- 🗓️ Participate in project planning and estimation.
- 🤝 Collaborate with external partners and vendors.
- 🗣️ Work with the customer team on presentations, requirement responses, and workshops.
What We're Looking For:
- 🎓 Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 💼 Proven experience as a Software Architect, with a strong focus on GSMA & eSIM management technology.
- 🧠 Deep understanding of eSIM management architecture, standards, and protocols.
- 📱 Experience with SIM/eSIM, Remote SIM provisioning, and SIM OTA standards (e.g., GSMA RSP specifications, TCA). Telecom knowledge in 5G network architecture and network service provisioning is a plus.
- 🔑 Knowledge of eSIM profiles, profile management, lifecycle, eSIM interoperability testing, HSM, Key Management/PKI/X509, and authentication algorithms for consumer and IoT domains.
- 💻 Extensive experience designing and implementing scalable, high-performance software systems.
- ⌨️ Proficiency in Java, C++, Python, or similar.
- ⚙️ Strong knowledge of software development methodologies (Agile, DevOps).
- ☁️ Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and microservices architecture. Bonus points for Cloud, Docker, OpenStack, Kubernetes, Database, Containerized Applications, Elasticsearch, Grafana, and Prometheus experience.
- 🤔 Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills. Ability to clearly present information.
- 🗣️ Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- 🏆 Proven track record of leading and mentoring development teams and managing multiple projects.
