👋 Software Asset Manager - Onsite (Lisbon, Portugal)

About the Role:

This role is all about ensuring software compliance and optimization! You'll be the expert on software assets, making sure we're using what we've purchased and minimizing any waste.

What You'll Do:

  • Understand the Rules: You'll dive into the Group's software asset management guidelines and ensure they're implemented effectively.
  • Enforce the Rules: You'll be the champion for software compliance, making sure everyone follows the rules.
  • Document Everything: You'll contribute to creating clear procedures and documentation to help everyone understand the process.
  • Track Software Usage: You'll gather data on software usage across the company, both locally and at the Group level.
  • Track Purchases: You'll keep a close eye on all software purchases, contracts, and invoices.
  • Be the Go-To Person: You'll be the first point of contact for all software purchases, working closely with the Group Procurement team.
  • Create Action Plans: You'll develop plans to ensure compliance and optimize software usage, like uninstalling, transferring, or buying new licenses.
  • Stay Organized: You'll keep detailed records of software usage, purchases, and any action plans.
  • Report Back: You'll provide regular reports on software asset management activities, highlighting key insights and any potential issues.

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience: At least 12 years of experience in IT, with a minimum of 3 years in Software Asset Management.
  • ITIL Certification: You'll have a strong understanding of ITIL principles.
  • Communication Skills: You'll be a strong communicator, able to work effectively with colleagues across different teams and cultures.
  • Organization Skills: You'll be a master at staying organized, meeting deadlines, and paying attention to detail.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: You'll have a knack for identifying and resolving issues.
  • Language Skills: Expert English is a must.
