The Speech Language Pathologist plays a key role in supporting students' communication development and overall learning experience. You'll be responsible for assessing student needs, creating individualized intervention plans, and providing support to help them thrive in the educational environment.
What You'll DoΒ π
- Adhere to the principles and beliefs of the Council for Exceptional Children (CEC).
- Identify students who may have communication disorders, such as difficulties with articulation, voice, language, or fluency.
- Conduct thorough assessments and diagnoses of communication disorders.
- Design and implement treatment plans and interventions for students with communication disorders.
- Establish specific, achievable goals and objectives for each student.
- Track student progress and collect data to measure the effectiveness of interventions.
- Provide guidance and support to students, families, and other professionals regarding communication disorders and management strategies.
- Make referrals to other specialists when needed.
- Help students use assistive technology and other communication tools effectively.
- Stay up-to-date on current best practices in the field through professional development activities.
What We're Looking ForΒ π

Master's degreeΒ in Speech-Language Pathology or a closely related field.

Valid Colorado Special Services Provider LicenseΒ (endorsed in Speech/Language Pathology) or a submitted application for licensure with the Colorado Department of Education.
