🚀 About the Role:

This role involves managing a team of software engineers, overseeing the development of software products and solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements, ensuring successful project completion and customer satisfaction for applications in on-premise and cloud environments.

What You'll Do:

• Manage a team of software engineers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements.
• Coach and provide daily hands-on management to employees in a multi-disciplined operation across multiple geographic areas.
• Set, monitor, and measure KPIs, SLAs/SLOs, and enforce standards, policies, and procedures.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement.
• Manage staffing needs through recruitment, selection, orientation, and training.
• Support employee growth through development plans and skills profiles.
• Identify and manage problems, issues, incidents, trends, and risks across the IT stack.
• Lead incident management, analyze and remediate complex technical problems, conduct root cause analysis, and implement mitigating controls.
• Coordinate resources and collaborate with cross-functional teams, account leaders, project managers, and clients to complete project deliverables.
• Ensure IT processes are fully documented.

What We're Looking For:

• Required: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; 10+ years of IT management experience; 10+ years of technical operations leadership, team leadership, and mentoring; experience supporting applications and databases on EC2 instances.
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree in software engineering, computer science, or a related field; 5+ years of project planning & management; application development and support in an insurance-centric environment; relevant AWS certifications (Cloud Practitioner, Solutions Architect, Database Specialty, Kubernetes Developer, etc.).
• Essential Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to multi-task and oversee multiple initiatives; demonstrated organizational and prioritization skills; experience translating business requirements to technical data requirements; risk management experience; managing migration projects from on-premise infrastructure to cloud-based environments.
• Must have a US valid indefinite work permit.

Compensation:

$131,300 - $243,800 (This is a reasonable estimate and may vary based on experience and other factors).
