Hey there, Python wizards! Syrinx is searching for a seasoned Senior Python Developer to join our team on a long-term contract basis. This is a fully remote position open to U.S. citizens and those authorized to work in the U.S. (we're unable to sponsor at this time). No C2C please.

What You'll Do:
- 🤝 Collaborate with product and business teams to shape our new Customer Service automation product for a major travel site. It's a greenfield project, so you'll have significant creative freedom!
- 💻 Design and implement a microservice-based application using Python, Django, Flask, and related frameworks within AWS or Azure.
- 🏗️ Create a scalable, testable, and well-documented application designed for growth.
- 💡 Stay current with the latest tech trends and apply them to our projects.
- 🎯 Deliver software independently and on time.
- ✍️ Meticulously document all aspects of your work.
What We're Looking For:
- 🎓 Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- ⏱️ 8+ years of software development experience.
- 🐍 5+ years building and deploying web applications using the Python ecosystem (Django, Flask).
- ☁️ Experience building applications in the cloud (AWS or Azure) using containers like Docker.
- 🌐 Experience building and consuming APIs (REST or GraphQL) to interact with front-end SPAs and other applications.
- 🔄 Experience working in an agile environment.
