Job Description

1. Responsible for the design and development of software fixes, improvements, and/or new software systems and applications.
2. Drives development of components through their work and that of the team on projects, major fixes using new or existing technologies.
3. Develops technical solutions that meet specifications and provide positive impact on future developments.
4. Designs and develops specifications for assigned components, projects or fixes.
5. Reviews and writes code that meets quality gates.
6. Writes and performs unit and functional tests.
7. Owns programming, testing and debugging of applications or fixes to existing applications.
8. Creates protocols, documentation and tools for installation and maintenance.
9. Participates in setting the architectural direction for software development projects.
10. Designs specific components for assigned projects, developing specifications for each.
11. Designs, develops, creates and maintains technical components and templates.
12. Full stack developer, comfortable with front-end development, back-end development and integration between large scale ERP systems. Owns end-to-end troubleshooting.
13. Interacts and coordinates work with other technical groups in the organization.
14. Performs level 3 troubleshooting and review of issues.
15. Serves as a high-level technical resource and "go-to person" for less experienced developers, providing technical guidance and oversight.
16. Coordinates team members in finding root-cause of problems and issue resolution.
17. Recommends improvements to processes, technology, and interfaces that improve the effectiveness of the team.

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of experience in building full-stack and/or SaaS enablement development.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in building and enabling integrations using SaaS or Commercial off the Shelf (COTS) software packages, preferably Oracle Retail technologies such as MFCS, PCS, ReIMCS, SACS, RICS, BDI, and POM, or their on-prem equivalents such as RMS, RTM, RPM, ReIM, ReSA, and RIB.
• Good understanding of working with JSON along with UI based tech-stack.
• Solid Oracle SQL experience.
• Strong familiarity with JSON and XML data formats.
• Knowledge in Asynchronous messaging and event-driven architectures.
• Comfortability in writing business logic extensions to commercial SaaS solutions using back-end and front-end technologies.

Industry / Domain

• Platform engineering and integration experience with a leading SaaS ERP, such as SAP S4/HANA, JDA BlueYonder, or Oracle Retail.
• Domain knowledge with Merchandising concepts including Product Master Data, Stock Ledger, Cycle Counts, Supply Chain transaction processing, and price/promotion management.
• Documenting all work in a clear and concise manner, including detailed technical specifications and user manuals.
• Conducting thorough testing to ensure that all implementations are stable and performant.

Requirements

• BSc in Computer Science or related fields.
• Excellent level of French to understand without interpreter the incidents found by the users.
• A good level of English to escalate incidents toward English-speaking stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)

• A good understanding and experience for problems related to Supply Chain and Retail will be a plus.
• Familiarity with integration solutions such as Dell Boomi, Kafka, and GoAnywhere.
• Experience with CI/CD and DevOps tools (Jenkins, Git, Chef etc.) is a plus.
• Solid PL/SQL, and BI Publisher reporting.
• Experience with JIRA for work item management.
