Key Responsibilities
- Independently handle moderate to complex California Workers’ Compensation claims from start to resolution.
- Oversee medical treatment and billing, ensuring compliance with guidelines and appropriate cost management.
- Negotiate settlements with injured workers and their attorneys in accordance with California law.
- Maintain accurate documentation and provide excellent customer service while adhering to company best practices.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience handling California Workers’ Compensation claims.
- In-depth knowledge of California Workers’ Compensation law.
- SIP designation required.
- Proven experience managing litigated files.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
- High School Diploma required.
Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Salary & Benefits
- $45.00/hr to $55.00/hr (based on experience).
