πŸš€Β The Role:Β We're searching for a Strategic Account Executive based in Madrid to cover Spain and Iberia. You'll be the primary point of contact for key accounts, developing and executing sales plans, and generating new ARR license revenue. This role reports to the Senior Sales Director, EMEA South.


🎯 What You'll Do:


  • Meet and exceed sales quotas by selling EDB products to key decision-makers.
  • Develop and maintain sales plans to achieve annual targets.
  • Qualify and nurture leads from various sources.
  • Build strong relationships to uncover growth opportunities.
  • Stay updated on our products, competitors, and industry trends.
  • Collaborate with Sales Engineers on demos and assessments.
  • Create and execute strategic and tactical sales plans.
  • Follow EDB's sales process, from opportunity identification to contract signing.
  • Accurately forecast and report sales activities in Salesforce and Clari.
  • Present solutions and conduct product demonstrations.
  • Oversee cross-functional resources to ensure client success.
  • Work within a matrix team (Sales, Inside Sales, SEs, Marketing, Channel Development, Sales Operations) to execute regional GTM strategies.

  • 5+ years of enterprise software sales experience.
  • Proven success in selling, business development, and executive-level engagement.
  • Ability to manage multiple opportunities and meet deadlines.
  • Strong technology acumen and ability to clearly communicate solution value.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work with direct and channel partners.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional planning, preparation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Skill in coordinating internal and external resources.
  • Positive, transparent, curious, open-minded, and persistent attitude.
  • Passionate and determined; a proactive problem-solver.
  • Proficiency with productivity tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Salesforce, Google Docs).
  • Up to 50% travel required.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish is essential.
