💼 The Role:


🚀 Strategic Sales Manager


This key customer-focused role puts you at the forefront of driving sales growth for our HVAC and Water Heating/Plumbing product categories in the Northeast region. You'll be a critical part of a high-performing team, executing and delivering innovative sales strategies.


🎯 Responsibilities:


  • 🤝 Strategic Partnerships: Build and maintain strong relationships with premier national accounts, collaborating closely with internal Rheem partners.
  • 🗣️ Communication: Effectively communicate Rheem's competitive pricing, product information, quality, sales tactics, and pricing strategies to key accounts. Serve as the primary liaison between Rheem and the customer.
  • 🤝 Conflict Resolution: Proactively identify and resolve conflicts with both national accounts and internal partners to ensure seamless service.
  • 📈 Sales Execution: Consistently exceed sales growth targets and meet or surpass premier account expectations.
  • 🌱 Professional Development: Take initiative in your personal training and career development to enhance your success.

🎓 Qualifications:


  • 🎓 Education: Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university.
  • 💼 Experience: 5+ years of experience in customer-facing sales within the HVACR, Water/Plumbing, or building materials industry.
  • 💻 Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • 🗣️ Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • 🎤 Presentation Skills: Strong presentation skills.
  • 🧮 Mathematical Skills: Ability to calculate discounts, interest, commissions, and percentages accurately.
  • 🧠 Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and reasoning skills, including problem definition, data collection, fact-finding, and drawing conclusions.
  • 💪 Self-Motivation: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • 🤝 Teamwork: Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
  • 🚗 Travel: Willingness and ability to travel extensively (approximately 50%).
  • 📍 Location: Residency in or willingness to relocate to one of the following states: Maryland, Delaware, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Virginia, Rhode Island, or Maine, near a major airport.

💰 Compensation:


The salary range for this position varies by location:


  • Colorado & Washington: $77,600 - $124,100
  • California, New York City, NY, & Connecticut: $83,808 - $134,028

Please note that the final offer will depend on factors such as location, experience, market data, and internal equity.
