The Role We're looking for an analytical and ambitious Technical/Data Product Owner to join our customer journey data tracking team in Lisbon, Portugal. This role is a hybrid position.

What You'll Do

• 🤝 Collaborate to Develop Vision: Work with the domain team to develop a product vision, goals, and a strategy to achieve them.
• 🔎 Drive Product Discovery: Lead product discovery efforts to understand what product enhancements need to be built.
• 🤝 Stakeholder Management: Work with a diverse group of stakeholders across business departments to align on expectations and opportunities.
• 💡 Identify and Prioritize Use Cases: Pinpoint use cases that help internal users and stakeholders achieve their business objectives. Help create business cases to prioritize your team's development efforts.
• 🗣️ Communicate Complex Information: Effectively explain the product's complexity to non-experts and stakeholders.
• 🚀 Support Product Adoption: Assist with the adoption of our new product and related changes to business processes.
• 🎯 Define Success Criteria: Establish clear success criteria to measure the product's impact on users and their work.
• 🗂️ Manage Product Backlog: Take ownership of, prioritize, and refine the product backlog, ensuring alignment with the strategic vision and business priorities.
• 🤝 Team Collaboration: Actively engage in team scrum ceremonies and discussions as part of daily collaboration.

What We're Looking For

• 📊 Data Experience: Proven experience with one of the following: business intelligence methods (analytics, reporting), web analytics, e-commerce processes (web tracking and A/B tests), data warehousing, or data engineering.
• 💡 Product Discovery: Experience in product discovery and delivering small but impactful iterations.
• 🗣️ Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including strong English fluency.
• 🤝 Stakeholder Collaboration: Demonstrated experience working with business stakeholders and data stakeholders (data analysts, data engineers, data scientists).
• 🧠 Curious and Innovative: A curious mindset with a passion for continuously challenging the status quo to drive innovation.
• 敏捷 Agile Expertise: Deep understanding of agile principles and practical experience applying them daily.
• 🤝 Team Player: A true team player with empathy and strong interpersonal skills.

About the Team

The team is fully responsible for tracking customer behavior across all devices and delivering real-time insights. We process around 1,000 events per second, clean and enrich the data, and transform it into a custom data model used for various analytical purposes throughout the company.

We're a small, distributed team across Berlin and Lisbon, actively seeking a Product Owner to help us improve the product and expand its impact. We collaborate closely with data science teams, other data engineers, and data analysts who rely on our product for data-driven decisions and forecasts.
