The Role 💼
As a Technical Sales Representative at Emerson, you'll be a strategic partner to customers in the process industry, driving sales of measurement instrumentation in Northern Louisiana and surrounding areas. This is a remote, field-based position requiring significant travel.
What You'll Do:
- Partner with customers to understand their needs and recommend solutions.
- Use sales strategies and CRM tools to promote and sell Emerson's products.
- Conduct territory analysis and strategic planning to identify opportunities.
- Secure major project business and close deals effectively.
- Prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently.
- Develop product-based solutions to address customer pain points.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve sales goals.
What You'll Need:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
- At least 3 years of technical sales experience in the automation industry.
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% within the territory, including frequent overnight stays.
- Ability to travel outside the territory for training and meetings.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States (sponsorship is not available).
