The RoleΒ πΌ
As a Territory Sales Manager, you'll be instrumental in delivering exceptional customer experiences by actively pursuing sales opportunities within Kansas and Nebraska. You'll work directly with key clients (District Administrators, end-users, architects, general contractors, and construction managers) to maximize sales in new construction, renovations, and existing facilities.
What You'll DoΒ π―
- Manage your territory using a CRM (Salesforce preferred), ensuring timely and accurate updates.
- Plan and coordinate sales trips to maximize results.
- Consult with customers on optimal solutions and design strategies.
- Review front-end bid documents.
- Manage the sales process for identified projects and opportunities, communicating effectively internally and externally.
- Sell the company's product portfolio at established pricing and margins.
- Develop and execute territory KPI business plans to achieve company goals.
- Certify, schedule, and present company-developed AIA-accredited courses.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of company products, processes, markets, competitors, and customer processes.
- Pursue new business development and achieve goals related to key product introductions and promotions.
- Coordinate sales pursuit activity across internal departments.
- Establish and maintain a strong database of contacts and opportunities.
- Liaison with Sales Management, Marketing, and other internal partners.
What We're Looking ForΒ π€
- Bachelor's degree preferred (relevant experience considered in lieu of degree).
- Proven track record of successful sales.
- Competitive, self-motivated individual capable of independent planning and execution of sales strategies.
- Ability to work effectively and comfortably remotely from a home office.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM (Salesforce preferred).
- Proven presentation skills.
