🤝 The Role

The VP, Government Accounts is responsible for fostering strong client relationships and ensuring they realize maximum value from PG Forsta's solutions. This role drives the retention and growth of Press Ganey's offerings.

What You'll Do

  • 🤝 Relationship Management: Be the primary point of contact for clients, building strong connections at all levels of their organizations, especially within the executive ranks. This includes client retention and revenue growth.
  • 📈 Client Value Strategy: Lead the development and execution of client value strategies, working closely with C-suite executives and other business leaders.
  • 🤝 Sales Partnerships: Spot sales opportunities and collaborate with the sales team to expand client relationships.
  • 🤝 Executive Alignment: Hold regular meetings with C-Suite executives (including Executive Briefings) to align with the client's strategic goals.
  • 🧠 Client Expertise: Become an expert on your clients' businesses, their needs, and how they use Press Ganey solutions. Offer tailored recommendations.
  • 🤝 Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with different teams within PG Forsta to address client needs and ensure they receive the value they expect. Provide proactive and on-demand support.
  • 💡 Market Insights: Share market insights and offer strategic advice to clients.
  • 📊 Client Dashboard Management: Understand and leverage the Client Partnership Dashboard, including Voice of Client and internal client health assessments, to develop targeted improvement plans.

What We're Looking For

  • 💼 Experience: 5-10 years in account management, sales, or consulting, preferably within the Government sector.
  • 🗣️ Communication Skills: Exceptional interpersonal, communication, listening, and presentation skills.
  • 🧠 Business Acumen: Strong understanding of strategic planning, strategy execution, business development, and sales.
  • 🤝 Leadership & Organization: Proven leadership skills and strong organizational abilities.
  • ⏱️ Flexibility: Ability to work within a flexible schedule (8 AM ET to 5 PM ET), including weekends and holidays. Potential for adjustments based on business needs.

Education:

  • 🎓 Bachelor's Degree: A bachelor's degree and 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • ✈️ Travel: Expect to travel 50% - 75% of the time.

Compensation & Benefits

  • 💰 Expected Base Salary: $165,000 to $185,000 (Offers may vary based on factors such as experience, skills, and market conditions.)
  • 💰 Bonus/Commission: Eligible for discretionary bonus or commission programs tied to performance.
