Web Developer I (Remote)

Software Development – Remote (Mexico)

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and set up responsive websites and web applications.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Work with designers, product managers, and other developers to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Adjust websites for speed, scalability, SEO, and accessibility.
• Find and fix bugs, troubleshoot errors, and put fixes in place quickly.
• Stay current with new web technologies, frameworks, and recommended approaches.
• Connect APIs, outside services, and back-end systems when needed.
• Maintain documents and make sure version control is used with Git.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Web Developer (portfolio or projects required).
• Strong knowledge of frontend technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (and frameworks like React, Vue, or Angular).
• Familiarity with backend technologies such as Node.js, Python, PHP, or Ruby (depending on the role).
• Experience with databases (SQL/NoSQL) and RESTful APIs.
• Understanding of UI/UX principles and responsive design.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equal practical experience.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)

• Knowledge of cloud hosting platforms, such as AWS, Vercel, or Netlify, is a plus.
