The Role: Android Developer - Remote (Portugal)

We are looking for an Android Developer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality Android applications.

Responsibilities (What You’ll Do):

• Design and develop user-friendly Android applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization.
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and new technologies to maximize development efficiency.

Requirements (What We’re Looking For):

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Proven experience as an Android Developer.
• Proficiency in Java and/or Kotlin.
• Experience with Android SDK.
• Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON.
• Experience with third-party libraries and APIs.
• Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.

Preferred Experience:

• Experience with Agile development methodologies.
• Knowledge of other mobile platforms.
