About the Role 🚂

This is your chance to become an international .NET developer working on software for the freight and passenger rail industry! A new office is opening in sunny Portugal, joining existing locations in Rotterdam and Paris. You'll be involved in the development, delivery, and support of software used by railway companies worldwide.

You'll be working in a small, collaborative software company on an in-house application for freight and passenger trains, including route planning and self-developed ERP solutions.

What You'll Do 🛠️

• Develop and maintain software applications for the rail industry.
• Contribute to the design and architecture of new features and systems.
• Work both independently and as part of a team.
• Collaborate with other developers, stakeholders, and clients.
• Participate in code reviews and testing.
• Support existing applications and resolve issues.

What We're Looking For 🤔

• Must-haves:
  • Bachelor's degree (HBO) in Computer Science or a related technical field.
  • At least 2 years of professional experience.
  • Proficiency in C#, .NET, and SQL.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Fluency in Dutch and English.
  • Strong sense of responsibility.
  • Eagerness to learn and grow.
  • Availability to work 40 hours per week.
