Responsibilities
- Compose content for website landing pages, articles, social media, and print media.
- Maintain and expand the company's writing style guide, ensuring consistency in tone, style, and voice.
- Customize content based on management and teams requirements.
- Deliver email marketing (high open rates, click-through rates, and deliverability) to get our lists to read and engage with our content.
- Ensure timely completion of content projects.
- Provide insights into content performance and feedback to improve content over time.
- Produce engaging content by working with the marketing team, sales, graphic design, and customers.
- Promote, support, and implement marketing initiatives.
- Own and create a community content strategy.
- Serve as a vital community team player, driving the process and executing content, knowledge, and resources.
- Help build and promote a continuous stream of timely, relevant, and curated content.
- Craft easy-to-understand conversations about professional services or employee benefits.
- Assist visitors in their information-seeking journey through written content on all digital channels, including websites and social media.
Requirements
- B.S. or similar degree in English, journalism, or similar field.
- Experience and passion for crafting easy-to-understand conversations about professional services or employee benefits at the highest level.
- Creative and analytical approach to work.
- Proficiency in content creation, writing, editing, and proofreading.
- Enthusiasm about words and design to connect with people.
- Basic language skills and a strong understanding of the business to engage the audience in online conversations.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and understandably is essential.
- High-quality communication standards and attention to details.
- You should know about the eCommerce industry.
- The ability to analyze and research is essential.
Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)
- Familiarity with the WordPress content publishing platform.
- An understanding of Microsoft Office or Google Workspace is beneficial.
- Having a solid understanding of the content process and terms is a big plus.
- Experience writing for the web, specializing in long- and short-form content, infographics, and interactives.
- Coming up with creative ideas for the web that attracts attention.
- A prior experience planning an editorial calendar is preferred.
