Responsibilities:

• Execute Simform's content strategy related to its services.
• Continuously improve technical writing skills by joining a team of technical writers focused on simplifying technology.
• Be responsible for the ideation and creation of value-driven content pieces that engage prospective customers and drive awareness about Simform's development practices and thought leadership.
• Work independently yet collaboratively with different teams across the marketing department and organization.
• Enjoy and excel at written communications, storytelling, and surpassing deadlines.
• Explain complex technical concepts in an interesting format.
• Conduct independent research to write industry-specific content pieces, including topics such as software development, product engineering, data engineering, cloud, and DevOps.
• Understand, adapt requirements, and produce different marketing materials such as ebooks, brochures, blogs, social media posts, decks, video scripting, infographics, and landing pages.
• Self-edit and proofread content while adhering to the brand voice and writing style.
• Collaborate and engage with internal and external subject-matter experts to create superior content pieces that appeal to the target audience (CXOs at mid-market enterprises).

Requirements:

• 3.5+ years of experience working in a similar technology domain. Broad experience in the software development industry is an excellent benefit.
• Proficiency in writing.
• A strong portfolio of relevant content pieces that showcases expertise in writing timely and well-researched content.
• Ability to write content beyond basic SEO writing, keyword-based blogs, and the skyscraper technique.
• A keen eye for content quality and willingness to go beyond standard practices to uphold the same.
• A passion for learning and an ability to immerse oneself in new and unfamiliar topics.
• Ability to use AI tools such as Open AI, Claude, Perplexity for content research and editing.
• Capacity to work independently and take ownership.
• Ability to receive and work on direct feedback/constructive criticism from peers and editors.
