Responsibilities

• Perform general store or supermarket duties.
• Use a point of sale (POS) system.
• Provide customer service.
• Handle sales transactions.
• Manage pricing.
• Stack, load, and unload stock.
• Conduct stocktakes.
• Perform warehouse work.
• Complete general cleaning tasks.

Requirements

• Experience in retail operations.
• Must be able to work in a remote Queensland community.
• Ability to work independently and with local community members.
• Must be able to live and work in Australia.
• Applications considered only from couples or singles prepared to share accommodation.
• Must be able to handle the challenges of remote community living.
• Roles are in 'Dry Communities'; alcohol is not permitted.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)

• Ability to think quickly and solve problems as they arise.

Location

• Remote Queensland communities.
• Relocation assistance is only available from Cairns.
• Flights from Cairns and accommodation are provided.
