DevOps Engineer

Odds Scanner, a media and technology startup based in Malta with a presence in Lisbon, is seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to join our growing team. This is a hybrid role, offering flexibility and a collaborative work environment.

🚀 What You'll Do:

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline software delivery.
• Design, implement, and manage scalable and secure cloud infrastructure solutions.
• Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (CloudFormation, Terraform, etc.) to automate infrastructure management.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize resource utilization.
• Automate administrative tasks using scripting languages (Bash, Python, PowerShell).
• Collaborate with developers to improve application deployment strategies.
• Ensure adherence to security best practices and compliance standards.
• Manage containerized environments using Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• Set up and maintain logging, monitoring, and alerting systems (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
• Partner with cross-functional teams to enhance system reliability, scalability, and efficiency.

💪 What You'll Need:

• Minimum 6 years of work experience, with at least 3 years as a DevOps Engineer.
• Minimum 3 years experience working with Linux.
• Experience with containerization (Docker or similar) and orchestration (Kubernetes, Openshift, or similar).
• Proficiency in Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, and/or GCP).
• Strong experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub, GitLab CI, ArgoCD).
• Hands-on experience with CloudFormation, Terraform, Ansible, or similar tools.
• Strong scripting skills in Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
• Experience with logging and monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog).
• Knowledge of networking, security best practices, and compliance standards.
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git, GitHub, GitLab).
• Experience working in Agile and DevSecOps environments.
