The Role
Token Metrics is looking for a results-oriented IT administrator to manage their company's IT infrastructure. You will upgrade and install hardware and software, troubleshoot to resolve IT issues, and maintain their networks and servers. The candidate should have extensive experience in administration, including system administration for cloud infrastructure (AWS primarily and knowledge of multi-cloud infrastructure), process automation, site reliability, and the ability to optimize the performance of their IT infrastructure.
Responsibilities (What Youβll Do)
- Act as a cloud system admin (AWS and Google Cloud, and knowledge of multi-cloud infrastructure).
- Monitor and maintain networks and servers.
- Create and automate alerting and monitoring system logs.
- Build tools to mitigate weaknesses in incident management or software delivery.
- Troubleshoot Support Escalation requests.
- Upgrade, install, and configure new hardware and software to meet company objectives.
- Apply security protocols and procedures to prevent potential threats.
- Create user accounts and perform access control.
- Conduct diagnostic tests and debugging procedures to optimize computer systems.
- Document processes, as well as back up and archive data.
- Develop data retrieval and recovery procedures.
- Design and implement efficient end-user feedback and error reporting systems.
- Supervise and mentor IT department employees, as well as provide IT support.
- Stay up to date with advancements and best practices in IT administration.
Requirements (What Weβre Looking For)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or similar.
- Applicable professional qualification, such as Microsoft, Oracle, or Cisco certification.
- At least two years' experience in a similar role.
- Extensive experience with IT systems, networks, and related technologies.
- Solid knowledge of best practices in IT administration and system security.
- Exceptional leadership, organizational, and time management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
