Job Summary

  • The FinOps Team at AllCloud helps AWS Reseller customers manage, understand, and adjust their cloud spending.
  • As a FinOps Analyst, you will support ongoing cost adjustment projects, help prepare monthly spending analyses, and drive financial accountability across the customer portfolio.
  • You will work closely with the FinOps, Sales, Customer Success, and Cloud Engineering teams to make sure customers get the most business value from their AWS investments.
  • This is a hands-on, customer-facing role focused on data analysis, reporting, and putting FinOps recommended approaches into action.

Responsibilities

  • Support FinOps account reviews by preparing cost, usage, and savings analyses for customers in AllCloud’s reseller program.
  • Help find adjustment opportunities across main AWS services like EC2, S3, RDS, and EKS.
  • Generate and maintain cost visibility reports using tools like CloudHealth, Umbrella (Anodot), and AWS Cost Explorer.
  • Work with Account Managers and the broader FinOps team to deliver monthly and quarterly adjustment reviews.
  • Help customers manage and track AWS commitments and usage.
  • Support automation and process improvement projects to reduce manual FinOps work and make operations more effective.
  • Respond to customer questions related to billing problems, trends, or allocation issues.

Requirements

  • 1+ year of experience in a customer-facing, analytical, or technical support role, preferably in cloud, finance, or IT.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field, or equal professional experience.
  • Strong people and communication skills, with the ability to build and keep professional relationships with customers.
  • Confident presenting ideas or updates to customers in meetings and written reports.
  • Shown curiosity and desire to learn about cloud technologies, AWS billing, and FinOps practices.
  • Comfortable working with data in Excel or Google Sheets, including pivot tables, lookups, and formulas.
  • Very organized, reliable, and detail-oriented, able to manage several customers or priorities at once.
  • Ability to work across teams with Sales, Finance, and Technical groups.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to read cost and usage data.
  • Intermediate skill level in Excel (pivot tables, lookups, data modeling).
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to present data-backed ideas clearly.
  • Basic understanding of AWS services, pricing models, and cost adjustment concepts.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing several priorities at once.
  • Strong decision-making ability and capacity to work alone.
  • Passion for helping customers adjust technology costs and create business value.
