🚀 About the Role:
As a Front Office Agent at the luxurious ME Lisbon hotel, you'll be responsible for ensuring a seamless and exceptional guest experience. You'll be the face of the hotel, handling check-in/check-out, guest inquiries, and complaints with professionalism and empathy. This is an onsite position in the heart of Lisbon.
What You'll Do:
- Efficiently manage guest check-in and check-out processes, including digital check-in procedures.
- Maintain accurate guest profiles, adhering to data protection regulations.
- Identify and welcome VIP guests, ensuring a personalized and memorable arrival.
- Handle front desk administrative tasks, ensuring accurate billing and credit card processing.
- Resolve guest complaints professionally and empathetically.
- Communicate relevant information promptly to the front desk management team.
- Actively seek opportunities for professional development and contribute to best practices.
- Support the hotel's revenue strategy through upselling and cross-selling.
- Handle guest phone requests.
- Act as a brand ambassador, representing Meliá Hotels International.
- Uphold and enforce hotel service standards.
- Ensure all guest inquiries are handled politely and efficiently.
What We're Looking For:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role.
- Fluent Portuguese and advanced English. A third language is a plus.
- Hospitality degree or equivalent experience.
- Strong customer service orientation and a commitment to quality.
