🚀 About the Role:

As a Front Office Agent at the luxurious ME Lisbon hotel, you'll be responsible for ensuring a seamless and exceptional guest experience. You'll be the face of the hotel, handling check-in/check-out, guest inquiries, and complaints with professionalism and empathy. This is an onsite position in the heart of Lisbon.

What You'll Do:

  • Efficiently manage guest check-in and check-out processes, including digital check-in procedures.
  • Maintain accurate guest profiles, adhering to data protection regulations.
  • Identify and welcome VIP guests, ensuring a personalized and memorable arrival.
  • Handle front desk administrative tasks, ensuring accurate billing and credit card processing.
  • Resolve guest complaints professionally and empathetically.
  • Communicate relevant information promptly to the front desk management team.
  • Actively seek opportunities for professional development and contribute to best practices.
  • Support the hotel's revenue strategy through upselling and cross-selling.
  • Handle guest phone requests.
  • Act as a brand ambassador, representing Meliá Hotels International.
  • Uphold and enforce hotel service standards.
  • Ensure all guest inquiries are handled politely and efficiently.

What We're Looking For:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  • Fluent Portuguese and advanced English. A third language is a plus.
  • Hospitality degree or equivalent experience.
  • Strong customer service orientation and a commitment to quality.
