Key Responsibilities

  • Work together on many different projects in a small team environment, from the initial idea to finishing the work.
  • Design and create prototypes for user interfaces and experiences (UI/UX) for software products.
  • Create branding elements, advertising materials, motion graphics, presentations, and web designs.
  • Develop new design ideas and give input on marketing strategies.
  • Adjust artwork with a focus on making the quality and creativity better.
  • Adapt to team workflows and tools while bringing your own knowledge to the group.

Key Skills and Attributes

  • Mid-to-senior level experience in Graphic Design, with a strong portfolio showing UI/UX work.
  • Proficiency in main design tools such as Affinity Designer and the Adobe suite (e.g., After Effects, Illustrator).
  • Ability to work alone, come up with proactive ideas, and succeed with little supervision.
  • A proactive mindset: Driven to find solutions and pursue continuous growth as an artist through self-guided learning and professional development.
  • Passion for team collaboration and valuing the quality of the output over individual praise.
  • Must be a Canadian resident with a time zone that works with the British Columbia and Saskatchewan teams.
  • Willingness to travel sometimes to our Saskatoon office for team meetings or collaboration (if not based in Saskatoon).
  • Openness to join the team for company events and exhibitions when chances come up.

Preferred Skills and Attributes

  • Hands-on experience with Figma for collaborative UI/UX workflows.
  • 3D skills, especially with tools like Blender, to support motion graphics for presentations and marketing videos.
  • Ability to build presentations with PowerPoint.
  • Video editing skills to improve multimedia projects.
  • Familiarity with Godot for interactive prototypes or Webflow for web design.
  • Traditional drawing skills to add unique, hand-crafted elements to our designs.
