Responsibilities:
- Enable users to get the most from technology platforms, helping them solve problems, fixing issues they experience, and understanding how to make them more efficient.
- Support end-users with day-to-day issues with their current technology platforms.
- Enable new technology rollouts, including user training.
- Work with various vendor partners to become the in-house expert.
- Understand how the business works to solve business problems with technology quickly.
- Work with 3rd party support teams to escalate issues, get to root cause quickly, and report on issue status.
- Run morning checks to ensure all platforms are fit for business on a daily basis.
- Provide input on projects relating to the end-user to ensure success and minimal impact.
Requirements:
- Knowledge of: Microsoft ecosystem (cloud & on-premises), Active Directory, Office 365, InTune, mobile device management (for remote access), TeamViewer, Darktrace (network security platform), Microsoft Defender, Ignite, Slack, Zoom.
- Confident and pragmatic approach with the ability to demonstrate credibility quickly.
- High EQ and ability to deliver through strong influencing skills.
- Drive and aptitude to manage a broad range of responsibilities.
- Well-developed interpersonal skills, team spirit, and professional presentation.
- Highly articulate (verbal and written), organized, and with high attention to detail.
- Determined, motivated, and ability to work calmly under pressure.
- Self-starting, strongly ambitious, and tenacious: willing to “go the extra mile”.
- Ability to organize and prioritize own workload whilst being responsive to portfolio needs.
- Willing to take on new challenges and resolve them methodically (excellent ability to take ownership and run with things).
- Strong ability to understand the needs of the individuals being supported and able to execute with limited guidance.
- Ability to question situations and environments at all levels.
- Motivated to pursue a successful career supporting colleagues and investors in a successful financial services firm.
