Haitian Creole- English Over the phone Interpreter

Your responsibilities

• Providing over the phone interpretation services.
• Imparting thought, purpose, spirit, emotions, and tone of speakers from source language into target language (Haitian Creole-English language pair).
• Complying with applicable ethics and standards.
• Be aware of the specific vocabulary of the industry the interpreter works with (healthcare and medical one, specifically).

Required qualifications (Must have)

• Native in Haitian Creole.
• English: B2/C1 level.
• Computer: Windows 10 or newer, with Pentium, or I3 processor. Minimum: Core 2 Duo 2.1 GHz / Recommended: i5 / i7 2.4 GHz and above.
• It should have a 4 GB RAM Minimum (8GB recommended).
• Stable and fast internet connection (Wi-Fi is not allowed). Internet speed of 4Mbps Download/Upload.
• A noise canceling wired USB Headsets.
• Willingness to learn and grow both professionally and personally.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)

• Experience in the interpretation.
• Good knowledge of medical / legal terminology.
