The Role:
As an Instructional Designer, you will develop courses on management, soft skills, and cognitive skills.
Job Responsibilities:
- Update Current Courses:
- Audit courses for modality, cognitive load, motivation, difficulty, and alignment with educational outcomes.
- Work with client feedback and SME recommendations to improve course quality.
- Update course content in collaboration with SMEs.
- Maintain a backlog of improvements.
- Develop New Courses:
- Participate in learning needs analysis and high-level course design with the Product Manager and SME.
- Map learning outcomes for the whole course and each module/lesson.
- Write content based on SME materials, prepare practice exercises and learning aids.
- Design online classes, workshops, and other synchronous online events with expert mentors.
- Prepare materials about new courses for sales manager training.
- Create and maintain course documentation.
Requirements (What Weβre Looking For):
- Experience: At least 3 years as an instructional designer/learning experience designer/learning content developer/program designer.
- Subject Matter Expertise: Proven experience with soft skills, leadership, or management training; knowledge of models and methodologies for complex skills learning.
- Design Skills: Ability to design synchronous online events; ability to develop various forms of educational content (long reads, projects, practice tasks, infographics, assessments, etc.); ability to design and implement skills and knowledge assessment; ability to structure educational experiences and build Learning Journey Maps (LJMs).
- Technical Skills: Ability to work with modern tools to create learning aids (Figma, HeyGen, Supademo).
- Language Skills: English proficiency (C1).
