The Role
We are seeking a Java Developer with Kafka to join our team. This role offers the possibility of working remotely.
Responsibilities (What You’ll Do)
- Develop and maintain Java-based applications.
- Work with Kafka for asynchronous programming and systems.
- Design and implement service-oriented REST APIs.
- Participate in CI/CD processes, TDD, and BDD.
- Work with AWS services, including EKS, MSK, Lambda, and ECR.
- Perform unit testing using JUnit.
- Work in an agile environment.
Requirements (What We’re Looking For)
- Bachelor's degree in technology, computer science, or related fields (preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Java developer with a strong understanding of asynchronous programming and systems.
- Experience with Java (8 or higher) and a solid understanding of its ecosystems.
- Experience with Spring, Spring Boot, Spring Boot State Machine, and microservices.
- Skilled in writing autonomous service-oriented REST APIs.
- Strong experience with Kafka.
- Experience with CI/CD, TDD, and BDD.
- Experience with AWS services, including EKS, MSK, Lambda, and ECR.
- Proficient in using JUnit for unit testing.
- Experience with Jira and Confluence (nice to have).
- Experience working in an agile environment.
- Fluency in English (mandatory).
