We started in 2013, offering services in information technology. We're looking for a MySQL Database Administrator to join our team for a project in Lisbon.
💼 Tasks (What You’ll Do):
- Provide maintenance and support for client reporting solutions.
- Maintain database design/release documentation.
- Work with product teams to improve the data warehouse and client reporting solution.
- Profile server resource usage and optimize as needed.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production database issues.
- Make sure of the performance, security, and availability of databases.
- Work closely with the Engineering and DBA Team to design and put in place optimal solutions.
- Connect with database programmers and IT project managers.
- Protect the database from threats and unauthorized access.
- Make sure proper database backup is adequate and recoverable if memory is lost.
- Recommend changes and improvements for database protection.
- Create stored procedures for APIs.
- Design databases to reflect the needs of front-end and back-end users.
- Keep up with trends and developments in database administration.
- Monitor systems performance and identify potential problems.
