Description:
Responsible for the development, implementation, and control of marketing programs to maintain and increase market share and profits.
Maintains an active field travel schedule to regularly meet with customers, sales personnel, vendors, inventors, and consultants.
Responsibilities:
Develop and administer launch plans for new or revised products
Create and administer strategies for increasing market share of existing products
Evaluate performance of marketing initiatives and revise strategy in response
Participate in planning of sales promotions or other special events, such as conferences, trade shows, or user meetings
Develop units, revenue, and profitability forecast for complex product lines
Develop product line pricing strategy
Evaluate product improvements and line extensions while maintaining existing product base
Identify and write requirements for new product development and act as an integral part of the development team
Establish and direct engineering priority list for product group
Formulate and execute new product launch activities
Formulate and understand GPO contracting strategies and policies
Monitor product group incident reports and help direct corrective actions if needed
Coordinate and assist with in-house sales training programs related to product group
Develop and implement a five-year plan to support Injectable Drug Strategy
Support product lines from a clinical standpoint and manage technical studies as needed
Manage overall profitability of complex product line (large dollar volume, major product development)
Requirements:
5+ years of wound care industry experience in product development marketing strategies and project management
Completed 4-year college degree
Understanding of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and compliance with HIPAA guidelines
Computer literacy (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Ability to travel domestically, as required 50-60% of the time (rare international travel to the Netherlands area)
Location:
Office is based in Milwaukee; this position will be hybrid with 2-3 days in office per week with senior leadership, plus the ability to travel 50-60% of the work week nationwide to the field team and tradeshows.
Compensation:
Base salary depending on experience $80k-$120k plus bonus
