Responsibilities

  • Consistently meet quarterly sales quotas by driving revenue through focused outreach and relationship management within an assigned territory.
  • Focus on Real Estate, Alternative Assets, Precious Metals, LLCs, and Private Equity sectors.
  • Develop and keep up accurate territory forecasts by looking at past sales data, current market trends, and real-time pipeline information to guide decisions and drive revenue growth.
  • Develop and carry out territory-specific plans to grow B2B channels and partnerships, working closely with internal teams to improve how we connect with people and convert them.
  • Follow up on leads from marketing. Work with the marketing team to quickly and well engage with leads using a set follow-up process, making sure these contacts are supported and turned into strong sales chances.
  • Keep up strong pipeline coverage. Proactively create and qualify self-generated leads through focused outreach, market analysis, and networking to keep a steady flow of good prospects that drive your territoryโ€™s revenue growth.
  • Direct and mentor a dedicated BDM Assistant who handles account setup and onboarding for new clients, partners, and institutional relationships, making sure the experience is smooth and high quality.
  • Support and take part in decisions about hiring, onboarding, and managing performance for BDM Assistants, working with leadership.
  • Proactively coach team members who are not meeting goals, giving clear advice to improve how much they produce and match company standards.
  • Work with the Director of Sales to design and put in place strategic sales plans, marketing activities, and operational methods aimed at growing the SDIRA client base.
  • Set and track measurable goals for territory performance, helping to reach territory production and financial targets.
  • Grow key partner and institutional relationships, making the channel more valuable and driving long-term client retention.
  • Travel within the assigned region to support partner-facing work, including attending a minimum of two in-person events per year for each Business Development Manager.

  • Must know the US laws and rules that apply to these areas.
  • Exceptional organization skills are required.
  • A very good ability with all systems and software used by The Entrust Group is needed.

Credentials and Experience

  • Formal Education: Bachelorโ€™s degree in finance.
  • Experience: 5 to 7 years of strong sales experience and a minimum of 3 years in the SDIRA market.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)

  • A CISP designation is helpful.

Special Requirements

  • Travel up to 25% along with working outside of regular business hours may be needed regularly to meet quotas and do responsibilities.

Supervisory Controls

  • Supervision Received: The employee works alone and generally chooses the ways and methods needed to finish the work. Certain responsibilities, as noted above, will be done with the Director of Sales or as thought right.
  • Employees Supervised: Responsibilities include disciplining employees, solving personnel problems, suggesting hires and firings, and developing work methods. The supervisor in this position manages a working unit or team with responsibility for employee performance review, as noted above.

Complexity of the Work
In this role, you are expected to consistently meet and go past quarterly quotas and drive strong growth targets in the SDIRA market. You will coordinate many job functions, including production, financial, and operational duties, to make sure all goals are not just met but surpassed. This position requires often using analytical skills to solve hard problems and to make processes simpler, making sure decisions are fair and communication is clear across many departments. Handling private information is a daily job, and you will be expected to show complete care for our privacy rules and procedures while always making sure operations are secure and follow the rules.

Judgment and Initiative
You will need to use good judgment when independently looking at and fixing problems that are important to our main goals. The role asks that you use your own drive and creativity to come up with new ways that not only make individual tasks work better but also help the whole company succeed. Your ability to look at situations fairly and make clear suggestions will be key to keeping an advantage in the SDIRA market, making sure every choice supports the best interests of The Entrust Group.
