Role Summary

The Senior AI Solutions Engineer has a critical, high-impact role in scaling clinical AI solutions and making sure high-quality products can be deployed, monitored, and supported in production. This position requires strong software and data engineering skills to improve operational systems. You will be responsible for independently leading complex end-to-end projects, showing flexible thinking, and making cost-effective decisions while balancing quality versus speed. As a senior team member, a core function is mentoring team members to improve their software engineering skills and acting as a key technical link, forming strong partnerships with both R&D and Product organizations. Success in this fast-driven environment needs a focused "getting things done" and "can-do" attitude to deliver value with speed and quality.

Responsibilities

  • Automate and streamline AI operations – develop tools to automate AI deployment, data validation, and reporting for smooth production connection of AI solutions built by research teams.
  • Act as the production technical expert – work with Product and R&D teams during feature design to make sure production is possible, scalable, and operationally excellent.
  • Lead end-to-end tool development – gather needs, design, build, and deploy operational tools and pipelines in collaboration with teams across departments.
  • Drive engineering quality and play a key role in mentoring team members – uphold and develop engineering standards while encouraging innovation.
  • Investigate and fix complex data problems – analyze and address production data issues, including data quality, availability, performance anomalies, and connection challenges.
  • Work with customer-facing teams – understand real-world operational challenges, develop solutions that can scale, and connect customer needs with AI system behavior.
  • Make sure ongoing AI model reliability – design and put in place ways to monitor data and performance decline, and maintain long-term model effectiveness.
  • Develop monitoring and analytics frameworks – create metrics and dashboards to track production health, data accuracy, and AI performance across the deployment cycle.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, and other related STEM fields). A Master's degree is an advantage.
  • At least 4 years of proven experience in software or data engineering in a professional setting.
  • Familiarity with statistical analysis, machine learning concepts, AI model evaluation, and system engineering concepts.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to fix complex technical issues.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills to work well with teams across departments.
  • Flexible and adaptive mindset – the need is to deliver solutions with both quality and speed in mind, making decisions based on the changing trade-offs between them along the way.
  • Experience working in technically focused operation environments is an advantage.

Tech Stack

  • Strong proficiency in Python.
  • Deep understanding of data pipelines – working with ETLs, CI/CD processes, task management tools such as Airflow, cloud environments, and varied data platforms such as Databricks, Athena, and Postgres.
  • Experience using the newest AI developer tools in software engineering, such as Cursor / Co-pilot, is a must.
