Job Duties
- Implement and configure SPM modules (Ideation, Demand, Project & Portfolio, Resource, APM).
- Build and maintain prioritization models, approval chains, and intake pipelines using Flow Designer.
- Develop scoped apps, script includes, client scripts, and UI policies to automate demand-to-project workflows and enforce business rules.
- Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into actionable tasks.
- Design Performance Analytics indicators, dashboards (scorecards, resource heatmaps, demand backlogs), and custom reports.
- Leverage Analytics Designer and data streams for real-time portfolio metrics.
- Lead stakeholder workshops each sprint to map processes, demo solutions, and gather feedback.
- Lead and participate in training sessions with peers, business users, and stakeholders.
- Author and update knowledge articles, user guides, and how-to documentation on SPM best practices.
- Diagnose and resolve issues in automated flows and custom code; perform regression testing.
- Monitor system performance and apply optimizations—indexing, caching strategies, or script improvements—to reduce load times.
- Own multiple SPM user stories per sprint: define acceptance criteria, estimate effort, and demo completed work.
- Collaborate with the business to define and optimize the intake process for ideas and demands into SPM.
- Actively participate in backlog grooming, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Perform troubleshooting and root cause analysis, while also developing and implementing fixes.
Requirements
- U.S. Citizenship.
- Active Public Trust or higher clearance.
- 5+ years of ServiceNow Development experience supporting a large organization.
- 3+ years of specific experience with Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM).
- Strong proficiency in AngularJS, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Ability to work independently in a remote team environment.
- ServiceNow CSA (Certified System Administrator).
- ServiceNow CAD (Certified Application Developer).
- Extremely well-developed organizational, time management, and analytical skills.
- Strong attention to detail, documentation, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)
- Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Demonstrated enthusiasm for professional development within the ServiceNow ecosystem.
- ITIL v3 or ITIL v4.
Location
- Remote work within the United States only.
- Qualified candidates must be in the U.S. in Eastern or Central time zones to support customer hours.
