The Role:

This full-time position offers the flexibility of a remote work arrangement or the option to work from our vibrant Lisbon offices. As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you will play a key role in architecting and developing both new and existing products and features.

Responsibilities:

• Architect and develop new and existing products and features.
• Collaborate with Product Managers to devise optimal solutions and implementation plans.
• Partner with other product teams to deliver and enhance customer-facing features.
• Contribute to project estimations, planning, and execution.
• Integrate and collaborate with external service providers for seamless operation.
• Maintain and improve our existing codebase.
• Write thoroughly tested, high-quality, and performant code.

Qualifications:

• Extensive backend engineering experience in leading startups or fast-growing tech companies.
• Proven ability to develop, release, and maintain server applications in a fast-paced, iterative environment.
• Proficiency in Back-End Web Development and Full-Stack Development.
• Expertise in Front-End Development and CSS.
• Strong software development experience.
• Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Capacity to work independently and remotely.

Technology Stack:

• Backend: Optimized PHP framework (e.g., Laravel, Symfony)
• Frontend: Modern JavaScript framework (e.g., React, Vue.js)
• App: Flutter
• Database & Services: Firebase (Firestore, Realtime Database, Authentication) or MySQL or PostgreSQL
• Hosting: Cloud platform (Google Cloud) with auto-scaling
