Video Editor - DaVinci Resolve & 3D Effects Specialist

About the Role

• We are looking for a highly skilled and creative Video Editor to join a team of creatives.
• The ideal candidate has advanced expertise in DaVinci Resolve, strong knowledge of 3D effects, and a proven ability to work autonomously at a high level.
• You will be creating a wide variety of polished, engaging content for diverse clients across industries such as events, automotive, food, and lifestyle.

What You'll Be Doing

• Edit high-quality video content primarily in DaVinci Resolve, including professional color grading, seamless transitions, and advanced effects.
• Create and integrate 3D effects and motion graphics directly into video projects.
• Deliver various types of content, including:
  • Social media videos (short-form and long-form).
  • Aftermovies and behind-the-scenes videos.
  • Event, lifestyle, automotive, and food-related content.
  • Corporate and website videos.
• Work closely with creative leads to translate project briefs into compelling visual stories.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, consistently ensuring deadlines and high quality standards are met.
• Edit photos occasionally in Lightroom (basic knowledge is sufficient).
• Collaborate with teams across time zones while operating autonomously most of the time.

Requirements

• Proven expertise in DaVinci Resolve and strong skills in 3D effects and motion graphics.
• 3+ years of professional experience in video editing, ideally within an agency environment or with diverse client portfolios.
• A demonstrated ability to edit across a range of content types (events, corporate, lifestyle, automotive, food, social media, etc.).
• Possess a strong sense of pacing, storytelling, and visual style.
• Ability to work independently and proactively with minimal supervision.
• Available for a flexible schedule with some necessary overlap in Switzerland’s time zone.
• Excellent communication skills and can take feedback constructively.
